ScribeSprout

ScribeSprout for educators

Students will use AI. ScribeSprout is built so they use it openly, stay the authors of their work, and can show you exactly how they wrote it.

The approach

The AI offers options: a few ways to sharpen a research question, structure an argument, or say something more clearly. The student decides what to apply, edit or ignore. Nothing changes in the draft without the student’s action, so the student stays the author.

What the record shows

  • Every AI request, with its purpose:
    • Research question
    • Organisation
    • Drafting
    • Clarity
    • Sources and citations
  • Which suggestions were applied, edited or dismissed.
  • Active writing time, counted while the student is working.
  • A timeline of how the draft grew, from first note to final version.

What students hand in

Alongside their work, students can export two PDF reports: an Integrity report showing how the draft developed, and an AI-use report listing how AI was used. Both carry the student’s own AI-use disclosure, which ScribeSprout checks against the record before export.

What it doesn't claim

ScribeSprout gives no “AI-detection” score and no authorship percentage. The record shows what happened, in order and in detail; judging it stays with you.
