Outline and structure

Start from a template, shape your paper in the Outline view, and track each section from planned to drafted.

What you can do

Start a research paper, argumentative essay, literature review, reflective paper or case study from a template with its sections laid out, or start blank.
Reorder sections in the Outline view by dragging or with the keyboard, and add new ones.
Mark each section Planned, In progress, Drafted or Needs evidence, so you can see what is left to do.
Ask the AI for three outline suggestions; applying one adds the headings your draft is missing.
Write in focus mode, which hides the app's side rail and top bar.
